No data protection officer has been appointed, as the statutory requirements for this are not met.

2. General

I process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functioning website and my content and services, or where you have given your consent. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by the following provider:

The provider's servers store, among other things, IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data and website access data. This is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I have a legitimate interest in the reliable presentation of my website.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is part of the Wix terms of use. Where personal data is transferred to third countries, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, supplemented by additional technical and organisational safeguards.

4. Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits:

• Browser type and browser version

• Operating system used

• Referrer URL

• Host name of the accessing computer

• Time of the server request

• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website.

5. Contact form

If you send me an enquiry via the contact form, your details will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

The following data is collected: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), the name of your company (optional) and the content of your message.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on my legitimate interest in effectively handling enquiries addressed to me (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The data remains with me until you ask me to delete it, withdraw your consent or the purpose of storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

6. Enquiries by email or phone

If you contact me by email or phone, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data, will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your request. The same legal bases and storage periods apply as under section 5.

7. Cookies and consent

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

Technically necessary cookies are required to operate the website. They are stored on the basis of Section 25(2) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

All other cookies are set only with your consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You make your choice via the cookie notice displayed on your first visit. You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time with effect for the future.

8. Analysis of website use

This website uses the analytics function of Wix to evaluate the use of the website statistically and to improve my offering.

In particular, pages visited, length of stay, device used, source of the visit and approximate geographical region are recorded. The evaluation is aggregated and does not serve to identify individual persons.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie notice.

The provider of this function is Wix.com Ltd. (address, see section 3). The safeguards mentioned under section 3 apply to transfers to third countries.

9. Link to LinkedIn

This website includes an icon that links to my profile on the LinkedIn network. This is a simple link, not a social media plugin. Data is only transferred to LinkedIn when you actively click the link. LinkedIn is responsible for any subsequent processing.

10. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser's address bar starting with “https://”. When encryption is activated, the data you transmit to me cannot be read by third parties.

11. Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this policy, your personal data remains with me until the purpose of processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted unless there are other legally permissible reasons for storing it.
